Quick Healthy Crockpot Apples and Pears

Cut desired amount of apples and pears into a crockpot. Add enough water for them to cook and form a sauce. Add cinnamon and cardamom to taste. I am heavy handed, so it depends how much spice you like. You can also add some maple syrup. When ready to serve you can get creative. You can add nuts and/or granola.
